#1: Strengthen Your Back, Uplift Your Life
Saturday, August 1st, 9 – 10:30 a.m.
In this workshop, you’ll learn ways to open the chest and strengthen the upper back for better posture.
- Relieve an achy upper back
- Uplift your mood and confidence
- Feel lighter and more mobile
- Reduce inflammation, boost immunity
We’ll also practice some poses that stimulate the vagus nerve, which is believed to have many benefits including regulating inflammation and the immune system.
#2: Awaken Your Hips & Core
Saturday, August 8th, 9 – 10:30 a.m.
In this workshop we’ll awaken the core muscles and begin creating a balance of mobility and stability in the hip joints.
- Alleviate low back pain
- Strengthen the abdominal muscles
- Loosen tight hips
- Strengthen the gluteal muscles
We’ll also address tight hamstrings and weak glutes, as these can often contribute to pain in the hips and low back.
Completely De-Stress with Restorative Yoga
Saturday, August 15th, 9 – 10:30 a.m.
Need a break? Treat yourself to this deeply relaxing workshop. Long-held, supported poses give your muscles a chance to let go of chronic tension. These poses are very soothing to the nervous system and will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to face life again!
